While not essential, using olive oil or sodium bicarbonate ear drops for 2–3 days before your appointment can help soften the wax, making the procedure quicker and more comfortable. However, we can still perform the removal even if you have not used drops.
No, you do not need a referral from your GP. You can walk in during our opening hours or book an appointment in advance. Our qualified practitioners will assess your ears and carry out the procedure if appropriate.
Earwax removal at Chobham Pharmacy only costs £60. This cost includes a full consultation and microsuction. If no earwax is present, or if our practitioner is unable to remove it, you will only be charged £15 for the consultation.
